DENIM Satellite Meeting – ORNL Open House

On Friday September 13, 2019, the International Society of Neutron Instrument Engineers will host its first ever DENIM Satellite meeting at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Satellite meeting is much smaller and less formal than DENIM, and will consist primarily of tours of SNS and HFIR. Additionally, there will be a brief tour of the Graphite Reactor, which was the world’s first permanent nuclear reactor, and the site of the first neutron scattering experiments. A presentation will be given about the planned SNS Second Target Station. No other talks are planned for the Satellite Meeting.

If you are interested in attending the ORNL Open House, please check the appropriate box when registering for the conference.

Please note that Oak Ridge is a 2-hour flight or a 10-hour drive from the Washington DC area. Those wishing to attend the ORNL Open House are responsible for their own transportation, lodging, and meals.
